Here’s the FSX Day Cycle Calculator mentioned in Post 112 about Finding the Day of Shade.
Compared to the previously created Day Cycle Table, this calculator is much more handy and it has been further revised to simplify input operations.
To use the Calculator, click the image BELOW (NOTE: Sometimes it may take a few seconds to activate the server from idle state – that’s nothing I can do.)
- Then select a day — the Day Number in the FSX Day Cycle will show up immediately
- Clicking the arrows on top of the Calculator will move to the next or previous year
However,
- Any other day chosen MUST NOT be older than 2008, or else an error will occur.
This is deliberately designed since going to a date too far back from the present day doesn’t make much sense.
Also note that the size of the Calculator is optimized for iPad and other tablets or portable devices so that it can be accessed without interrupting any flight session.
