In addition to prioritizing missions as described in last post, names of missions can also be changed easily. For example, the three Mountain Flying in Switzerland missions from vertical studios were originally shown in small captial letters. Through following steps explained below, they are now capitalized.
Step 1:
Look for the mission to be changed under the Missions folder of FSX.
Step 2:
To change the name of the mission on Menu, open the FLT file with Notepad and modify the content of “Title=” under the [Main] section at the beginning of the file.
Step 3:
To change the name of the mission under Briefing of Mission, open Overview_Tab.htm, Details_Tab.htm and Tab.htm files with Notepad. Then look for the line containing “GSH1” and modify the content accordingly.
